Eventi online “The Dayton Generation: The Future of BiH in the Eyes of Young People” - 25 Years after Dayton

Per chi fosse interessato, si segnalano gli eventi online “The Dayton Generation: The Future of BiH in the Eyes of Young People” - 25 Years after Dayton del 4 dicembre 2020.

Online Events Schedule

December 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords. One generation has passed since the end of the war, the international community has long reduced its presence and engagement, and Bosnia and Herzegovina has applied for EU membership. The country, however, remains plagued by numerous issues, in particular the dysfunctionality of a complex and fragmented institutional set-up, as well as the exclusion and discrimination of citizens through rigid ethnic power-sharing arrangements.
The online events organized within the framework of the program “The Dayton Generation: The Future of BiH in the Eyes of Young People”, with the participation of the EU Delegation, the German Embassy and German political foundations will take stock of the situation in the country, and together with partners from BiH, the international community and young Bosnians discuss and develop scenarios for the country's future development.
